In this era of reduced availability of mental health services for many low-income people, this creative possibility for healing and recovery is needed more than ever. Join Tunefoolery here at St. Bartholomew's Church THIS SATURDAY November 16, starting at 6:00 pm. Enjoy refreshments, live music, and a raffle! $30.00 ticket fee includes one raffle chance; raffle & admission tickets will be available at the door.
A Tribute to Toni Morrison: THIS SUNDAY, November 17 at 4 PM
This truly Beloved Pulitzer-Prize winning author stepped into the Next Life three months ago on August 5, 2019. Her unquenchable spirit lives on through the millions of people who have been touched by the power of her words. All are welcome to gather at St. Bartholomew's from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Sunday, November 17 to offer gratitude for the life and work of the first black woman to receive the Nobel Prize in Literature. Toni Morrison believed we all carry the story of our lives and the history of our People within our bodies, and everyone has a Truth worth telling. So come celebrate her brilliance, recognize her activism, and tell your own story, in music, dance and poetry.
